The Grind Restarts Doing problems on a bunch of miscellaneous math topics again after a while, preparing for TST. Features hallucination, irreducible, nonstandard FE, more polynomials, and the Hardy-Littlewood maximal function.
2001 IMOSL C1 A friend commented on how the approach this problem takes is quite unmotivated, so I tried to solve it.
Another NT from the 2026 EGMO TST A beautiful P5 number theory from India's EGMO TST. Turns out my approach and motivation is way overcomplicated because I forgot a very basic fact. I like it regardless.
A wonderful ACGN problem (to be edited) Outstanding problem from India's EGMO TST practice test. I was trying this one with my friends for a few days before we cooked this up. A journey through ovals and conics in finite projective planes.
Method of Moving Points A bunch of problems from I don't quite remember where, on the method of moving points in geometry. I still haven't done most of these though. Features both projective map and polynomial MMP.
Spanning tree problems I just really like DFS and BFS trees. Thanks to Dragomir Grozev for his wonderful graph theory problem sets.
A nontrivial FE over naturals As impossible as it sounds, we actually got a hard N to N functional equation from an Israel test. Features a full thought process with a friend and the solution. Also POTD 2399.
So I made an RMO Mock Yeah, this might have been just a tad hard for RMO. A line on my thoughts on each problem are on the page.
Convergent integer sequences (PFTB) A continuation of the previous topic, where you create a bunch of new sequences from old ones. The central idea is that any integer sequence that converges must converge to an integer.
Sequences after failing 2023 N5 So I managed to not solve N5 from the 2023 IMO Shortlist on a mock and a MODS member kindly gave me some sequence problems with a similar idea to try.
A random FE Completely random functional equation from a Canada IMO training handout.
Smoothing, from a handout So there was this pretty cool smoothing in inequalities handout with a lot of Chinese problems and I just randomly decided to put one of the problems here. Smoothing is such a cool thing.
